TABILULU PRODUCTIONS is proud to present ADIYOYOYO, the
album from the acclaimed Afro-pop artist, Nkossi Konda. High lighting
years of his American solo career. Adiyoyoyo includes ten of his 250 not yet
released songs.
NKOSSI KONDA is a singer, a song writer & arranger.
He was born is Kinshasa (Zaire) Congo and came to the United States of America
about 21 years ago. He sings in English but adds a little touch of his languages,
Lingala and French. He blends his African musical heritage effortlessly with his
new American homeland, creating what he call "TRICULTURAL POP" which
is a combination of Funk, Reggae & Soukous.
ADIYOYOYO has ten original moving songs. Nkossi
translated as the strenght of lion, he lives up to his name. He has been signed
with Harris Belafonte's new label NIGER, and he has been recording his second
album already. He worked with various major label artistis such as :
Jamalsky,
Michael Rhodes (Black Uhuru), Producers Rahim le Blanc (1970's group "GQ")
John Anthony, Gordon Williams ( Ghost Brothers, K.R.S.1 ), Skeff Anslem ( Tribe
Called Quest ), K.C.B. ( Us3 ) ... Mr Konda is one of the artists
featured on the "Brazen Soundtrack " dance compilation album on Epic
Records ( SONY ) ; his single is entitled BOLINGO.
He has composed a series of songs for a screenplay for the
sceen Actor's Guild on the life of Controversial judge " cut them loose
..."
Bruce writh and have arranged and co-producer with guitarist/composer,
Kweku Vanderpuye and Mick Fleetwood ( Fleetwood Mack ) some tracks for his
brother, Sir Francis Upcoming record on Alabianca (B.M.G Europe/Hollande ).
Nkossi Konda played at Harambee
Village, Animal Kingdom (Disneyland ) Orlando, Florida For the openning of the
attraction park in 1998. In New York City, he can be seen at NELL'S
